Abstract

The elements for a sustainable education can be introduced and developed since the beginning of the curriculum, from basic sciences. In the case of Physics is indisputable wealth of curricular dimension of this discipline for the understanding and treatment of problems of energy efficiency and environmental matters. However, work on education strategies in energy and environmental problems has not yet reached the desired level and therefore need to develop alternatives to ensure greater quality in the integral formation of students in these aspects. This requires giving due weight to fundamental measures of educational strategies, using the educational potential of the disciplines and ways to improve their teaching in the training of engineers.
We take as starting point the view of Dr. N. F. Talízina: "It concerns to teaching of the fundamental contents of Physics, but not in an abstract way, but functional, that influences on the tasks of a particular profession”, which we share and we were dedicated to identifying the potential of each one of the content included in the curriculum that will offer the support to generate teaching strategies dedicated to contributing to sustainable education. Thus we conclude that in 15 subjects of the subjects addressed feasible to link content to a sustainable education strategy and the total so far identified aspects reaching 28 in the three subjects.
