Abstract |
On this article it’s detailed the characterization of a non linear process just as the pH neutralization process, inside
this model it’s presented the transmitter sensor model an the final element of control, which is a commercial valve
with specific characteristics that the process requires. Once finished the modeling stage on open loop, the
transmitter sensor and the actuator it’s then designed a PID and a Fuzzy controller with their own performance
criteria to select in which environment of operation each controller is better than the other. The designs and tests
made are based on Fuzzy and PID controllers tuned with IAE and Dahlin criteria depending on the dynamics of
the process.
