Higher education has had in recent years a marked inclination to focus on skills training in order to ensure the ability and student performance in their areas of action required. Therefore we have sought new forms of management to ensure quality in education so that educational service tend to move the formation processes in a context of quality management in order to achieve the provision of educational services more pedagogical tools for monitoring and evaluation, based on evidence and indicators of performance. The progress made to improve the quality of education in many countries have focused on program accreditation and institutional accreditation, which have deviated substantially the objectives pursued by more comprehensive systems such as quality management. That is, or is achieved by some carriers certify or accredit courses, completely forgetting some administrative processes, which are essential to support the perfect functioning of the institution.
In Lean Thinking, is to show how this methodology to manage operations based on the concept of value and principles of quality management, so that the processes and areas of the organization identify and eliminate waste, and likewise, will provide only the activities that create value to the institution, with this, the process flow is influenced by the value created throughout the institution, and its flow throughout the chain, throwing the system only quality results in line with the regulations, with the management system and compliance with the objectives.
