After obtaining credentials of national quality registries and accreditation, the school of Engineering at EAN
University is working on a new challenge, international accreditation of Engineering programs. A strategy is
developed reviewing existing information regarding international accords, networks and boards for international
accreditation, in order to compare and implement the most convenient program with our University requirements.
A preliminary evaluation of national versus international accreditation model is developed in order to make an
specific implementation plan. Finally an example of the model developed is presented, effects of the
implementation process, some results obtained and the continuous improvement plans presented as a close loop of
the quality cycle.
