Abstract:

This paper describes the supply chain performance

comparison of two different planning techniques

based on Push Principles (MRP II) and Pull principles (3C),

applying the method developed by Lopez-Gurrola-Fernandez,

Jeremy Shapiro, Stadler and others researchers under real

conditions in Colombian's Pharmaceutical Supply Chain using a

simulation model based on Supply Chain Operation

s Reference (SCOR) technique and ProModel Simulator

as analysis and software tools. The model captures

specific activities carried out on this supply chain

based on some spreadsheet simulation and

operation research concepts.
