Energizing your Leadership Brand

Description:
The goal of the presentation is to help participants learn to use and build their brand of leadership effectively. Come explore what your brand has to offer and the various tools not just social media. Learn how to then use everything to build your own personal footprint. Come and learn advanced tactics and strategies for using and leveraging a few different platforms so you can grow brand around a well-rounded, active and energized community. This session will be interactive with some hands on activities.

Ms. Dora Maria Abreu

Title: SHPE Workshop for Professional Development

Dora Maria Abreu is an avid technology professional with progressive work experience in IT support and as a software engineer / developer. Building on her technology and education delivery skills, Dora Maria has helped youth and community at large through mentoring, and providing programs and workshops on internship preparation, leadership / professional development as well technical classes for those within STEM and outside the field.  By being part of the John C. Maxwell Team she has been able to build on these skills and reach a wider audience. She enjoys music, dance, sports, photography and poetry.

Ms. Abreu has received a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems and Applied Math & a Master’s of Science in Management Information Systems as well from Stony Brook University and then a Master’s of Education in Technological Information Systems from Columbia University.
