Abstract:

The vehicle routing problems (VRP) are considered an efficient tool when making decisions in the procurement process. In this article we developed a vehicle routing model that considers simultaneous pickup and delivery, multi-depot, heterogeneous and capacitated fleet for collecting milk in the dairy supply chain. A 6.98% cost reduction was obtained in the evaluation of a raw milk collection route in the municipality of Galeras, Sucre
