Abstract:

The project outlines a project idea of creating an autonomous search and rescue system for unmanned aerial vehicles capable of long-range reconnaissance and payload delivery. Due to the scale of Search and Rescue (SAR) missions and the vast areas that they encompass, the system was designed for long-range flight and mission times. Furthermore, the system was designed to be capable of fully autonomous flight, visual and data feedback for the operator. The system consists of a fixed-wing unmanned aircraft, the RMRC Anaconda, a fully equipped ground control system, and a long-range antenna tracking system.
