Abstract:

A tutorial experience is described into a mixed model of learning at a post graduate level. The methodology used, of qualitative character, exposes the utility of using the moodle platform as support for the teaching-learning process. The objectives of this work are to orientate virtual tutoring, investigate the influence of the moodle usage as a mediator tool and to know the students perception around it. To collect information a series of questions have been applied to the master`s program students. Inside the main results is the possibility to implement and tutor individual and cooperative activities that contribute to the development of specific and generic competences, improving the motivation towards the subject and contribute to the generation of academic and professional networks. In addition, the students sense the usage of a virtual educative platform as a natural extension inside their professional environment, extension that simplifies the communication between pairs and the teacher saving the inconvenient of time and place that are carried by a master with total-time dedication to the studies.
