Abstract:

The Research, Development and Innovation projects have important challenges from the point of view of their management. In this article, an analysis of the management of this type of projects based on the principles of project management published by the Project Management Institute is carried out. The analysis is applied to the case of projects financed by the General System of Science, Innovation and Technology Royalties in the department of Atlántico in Colombia. With the results presented, We intend that the science and technology institutions and the research directors of the projects can have better management tools in the execution of this type of projects.
