Abstract:

Multiple MYPES can not identify the times of production, production capacity and the exact and necessary raw materials for production, that is why they do not apply the correct methodologies for the improvement of processes. Production management and purchasing management consist of administrative tools widely used in different industries to maximize production levels within the organization. These are aimed at an efficient use of resources, reduction of production times by improving methods and correct distribution of work. In the present investigation, the proposal proposes the implementation of different purchasing management tools and methods improvement, which feed a new planning model optimizing the purchasing, production and planning processes. The tools used were the bimanual diagrams together with the standardization of processes, the gozinto diagram and the preparation of a planning template along with traffic lights to identify the daily workload. This model has been validated through direct implementation in the company. This proposal model was applied to an MSE of the garment sector and as a result the reduction of the production time was obtained by 15%, the increase of production capacity without altering existing resources and the reduction of reprocessing by 5%. All this caused the decrease of deliveries out of date.
