Abstract:

This study aims to explore new trends in knowledge management and competitiveness in the supply chain of the dairy industry, establishing new constructs in the process. For this, a review of the state of the art was carried out, which managed to identify the substantial elements of knowledge management as a strategy capable of fostering competitiveness. The documentary analysis allowed us to identify authors who conceive knowledge management as a promoter element of productivity and competitiveness associated with the use of intangible assets, however, considering the current Venezuelan agrarian situation, the development of standardized work methods is required for the components of interorganizational systems, in order to develop competitive advantages, thus opening the agricultural sector to the global food market
