Abstract:

This article describes the characteristics of an application that aims to strengthen or enhance the logic of students in computer programming courses. This tool is another contribution to the teaching strategies used by teachers in the teaching / learning of computer programming. With the use of open source libraries that facilitate the development of interactive environments the use and handling of components, led to the application called BLOCK-C, which allows the creation of algorithms based on logical assembly of components and similarly to visualize its corresponding C source code, this in order that students get to know the structure (syntax) of the C language and the way some instructions are encoded
