Abstract:

The outdoor exercise machine (Pony), which is installed in most parks in the city of Guayaquil, is a very common example of a four-bar mechanism driven by human movement. The main objective of this project is to analyze this mechanism, through a kinematic and dynamic study, using analytical modeling in MATLAB through the kinetostatic method, and multibody system modeling by using ADAMS software (Automatic Dynamics Analysis of Mechanical Systems). The results corroborate the accuracy of the methods used.
