Abstract:

The level of noise is one of the factors that must be controlled in the rooms of a health home, where tranquility and quiet are expected in their facilities. In the Basic Hospital of Daule, the origin and consequences of noise were investigated, as well as the proposal of improvement with noise reduction barriers. The external noise raised is in the range of 60 to 80 dBA, when the acoustic barrier was applied, the recorded noise was 60 to 70 dBA, demonstrating a reduction of 10%.
