Abstract

The project evaluation is a technique that helps to take decisions, at the same time that conforms as a factor of decision in the obtaining of financial resource to execute them. With the purpose of optimizing the times and costs associated with this task appears the " Investment Project Evaluation Software" (S.E.P.I. V 1.0). Its purpose is the application of the Information Technologies in the business units reducing the uncertainty of the risk on the investment, evaluating opportunities of business in a rapid and reliable way departing from the use of basic information about the project.
The S.E.P.I. allows to register business units and to associate projects of investment. Every project of investment will be able to register in turn the necessary inputs to be able to measure and estimate the degree that will be reached the economic aims raised inside the accomplishment of the project, making projections of profitability that will be the base to determine the economic viability of the project. Likewise the work contributes to the implementation of a iterative and incremental development methodology, that will be the starting point to venture into the development and documentation of agile methodologies in the software development of the Academy of Technologies of the Information and Communication. Simultaneously contributes to the aims of the Academy of Business Development.
