Abstract

This work is an option to the maintenance of the Lance of Oven Isasmelt, which works injecting oxygen and fuel to fuse the concentrate of copper to major temperatures to 1000ºC, it is composed of three types of materials (steel SAE 1025, stainless steel AISI 316L and steel 253MA SANDVIK) and to present wear and deformation in the body for action of the heat and corrosion generated by the bath of copper fused to which exposed, this implies works that cut and weld to keep it operative ,with such aims calculations of weld are realized, select the processes of weld, materials of weld and technologies of application.
